The Message-Passing Functions in PVM

Until PVM3.3, the only message-passing function available in PVM was pvm_send() -pvm_recv(). Several additional functions have now been added, as discussed below.

• pvm_send()-pvm_recv-pvm_nrecv()
• pvm_psend()-pvm_precv()
