What does ``mc pkt ... scrapped'' mean?

With early releases of version 3, you may sometimes see the following message in the pvmd log file:

[t80140000] netinpkt() mc pkt from t41829 for t8437d scrapped (no dst)

This message does not mean that an error has occurred. It is printed when a multicast packet between pvmds that actually arrived is resent - because the sender thinks the packet was dropped, possibly because the ack was lost. The receiver logs an error instead of silently dropping the packet. This doesn't mean messages were lost or corrupted.
