Notes for SET

  1. Performs $ x \leftarrow \alpha $
  2. An index file input line looks like:
    <ID> <alpha> <incX> <source file> <author name>
    
  3. For complex, if incX == 1, and the imaginary component of alpha is the same as the real component, the real routine is called with N*2.
  4. alpha == 0.0 is heavily used in some codes.
