Implementation of MPI on Fujitsu AP1000

abstract

Work is currently being done to implement MPI on the Fujitsu AP1000 on top
of the native message passing routines provided by the CellOS operating
system. The operating system has been modified to directly support MPI
contexts and provides a powerful selective broadcast operation which is used
to implement many of the collective and communicator constructor functions.
Currently, release 1.4 of the software is available.
