: In reply to a "find" request, I received a list containing a number of
: files that I don't understand. For example,
: slatec/src/rf.f
: slatec/src/drf.f
: slatec/sec/drd.f
: tomspdf/73.pdf

: I know what to do with a file like toms/577 which was also on the list,
: but what do I do with the others? How can I obtain them and if so
: do I have to do anything before I can use them?

: Thanks for your help.

If you have access to a WWW browser then you can prepend the
names of those files with "http://www.netlib.org/" and view the
files in your web browser. For example,
"http://www.netlib.org/slatec/src/rf.f" would retrieve the
first file from the list above.

If you want to download the files via email then you can
send a message to netlib@netlib.org and in the body of the
message put 'send filename from directory'. For example,
'send rf.f from slatec/src' would retrieve the first file
from the list above.

hope this helps,
