############## readme for hpf ############## HPF is a set of extensions to Fortran 90 that provide access to high-performance architecture features while maintaining portability across platforms. The High Performance Fortran Forum (HPFF) (http://www.crpc.rice.edu/HPFF/home.html) is a coalition of industry, academic and laboratory representatives that works to define the HPF language specification. See the HPFF home page for more information about HPF, including a searchable database of HPF compiler implementations and an archive of the HPFF email discussion list. The HPFF home page also has HTML versions of the HPF 1.0 and 1.1 language specification documents.
