Subject: BibNet --- A Bibliography Network Project BibNet is a bibliography archive in BibTeX format. The archive contains three types of bibliographies: - by author (as in a curriculum vitae), - by subject (as in a review article), and - by institution (for example, the tech-reports of a university department). This is a step toward sharing information electronically, and it allows scientists to: - provide complete and updated information on their own work, - have an efficient pointer to electronically accessible material, and - simplify the work of preparing accurate publications. The BibNet archive is maintained at the University of Utah, at ftp://ftp.math.utah.edu/pub/bibnet. It is mirrored nightly to other Internet archive sites, notably http://netlib.bell-labs.com/netlib/bibnet.html. Contributions welcome! We invite you to submit your own publication list: a "publication" is something for which you are a (co)author; this may include reports, preprints, or other miscellaneous material. Send your name, affiliation, address, and list of publications to bibnet-submit@math.utah.edu. The list should be in BibTeX format, with each entry containing (at the absolute minimum) author, year, and title. If you have questions, read http://netlib.bell-labs.com/netlib/bibnet/faq.html or send mail to bibnet-help@math.utah.edu. Stefano Foresti - Utah Supercomputing Institute, University of Utah Nelson H.
