Subdirectories of this directory contain student versions of the AMPL
processor for the platforms indicated in the table below.  When time
and opportunity permit, we may add some solvers to these directories.
Executable binaries have been compressed with gzip (as indicated by
the suffix ".gz").  Transfer them in binary mode, and uncompress
them by executing

	gzip -dN *.gz

If need be, you can get copies of the gzip binaries we used or of the
source we used to generate them from ftp directory
ftp://netlib.bell-labs.com/netlib/gnu/gzip .

	mswin		PC running MS Windows 3.x, W9x or NT.

	powerpc		IBM machines with PowerPC chips
			created under AIX version 4.3.

	rs6k		IBM RISC System 6000
			created under AIX version 3.2.

	sgi		SGI machines; created under IRIX 6.5.

	solaris		SPARC Suns running SunOS or Solaris
			created under SunOS 5.8.

	solaris_i86pc	Solaris on Intel (i86pc) processors,
			created under SunOS 5.8.
